Revolver is one of Oslos hipest bar/concert place. They wanted a frame for a poster that they could use every month, and only change the colour and text themselves. I worked with Christin Malen (of christinmalen.com) as Art Director on the project, and we decided I should draw everyone working there cause they're sort of a tight, little (big) family of weird characters.

A new norwegian design and culture magazine approached me about doing some illustrations for the first issue. The theme was "typical norwegian", and since Norway is known for producing great black metal, and I like drawing portraits, I wanted to make norwegian-black-metal-corpse-paint-portraits!

I was asked to illustrate an article for one of Norways biggest newspapers, Dagbladets sunday supplement. The article was about the architect behind the new Hamsun Center in Norway, Steven Holl. The illustration is a portrait of Steven Holl as one of Hamsuns characters from the novel "mysteries".

I again decided to draw something a lot of the pages of a magazine, this time Dazed and Confused, and then cut it out and glued it in over the original. Then I mailed it to them, hoping they would consider me for some illustration work in their magazine.

We saw this movie, Der Führers Elite (It's about nazism, young boys who are supposed to become soldiers, and going against the stream for what you belive in etc.), and were supposed to make a movie poster for the film. I came up with two ideas I liked, that didn't fit the story, but desided to make them anyway. The first one was awarded with a diploma in the students visual communication awards, Gullkalven, in the poster category.

I was asked to illustrate the phrase "Out of Step", for the magazine with the same name. And, well, ta-dah!

Plan B asked me to make a poster/flyer for an event they were having on the Slottsfjell Festival.
This was nominated for best poster at Gullkalven 2009!

The first one is an illustration for a text about, well, faces. The second one I made with strong references to Pushwagner, and the text is about pushing yourself to the breaking point.
